Law and Society students are studying contract law and are about to begin a three day negotiation simulation activity after April vacation. Students just reviewed Offer and Acceptance and debated the John Leonard v. Pepsi Co. case
In Criminal Justice, students are researching the four goals of punishment: Deterrence, Retribution, Incapacitation, and Rehabilitation. Students have researched and designed info-graphics demonstrating knowledge of the purpose, the process, and the drawbacks of each goal. Students are also pushing forward into final draft work for their argumentative research papers for 4th quarter. Seven students pursuing the EEP credit through Roger Williams University will be meeting with a representative from the college to review final work shortly.
